Episode 28 – World’s Scariest Balloon

After assuring everybody that I didn’t disappear again I give some background on my gaming background, go through some milestones, have a near death experience, and attempt to explain what I refer to as the iRacing funk.

Great show again Trevor, despite not racing lately. I have been going through the “iRacing funk” really it’s just a sim racing burnout feeling that I know many of my past teammates have gone through. Some of which stopped racing entirely to never return from :| :(
Anyway I’m facing that myself recently, granted the terrible DWC luck I had early in the season surely didn’t help that any. (hours of practice + being wrecked by an idiot early in 3 different races = frustration and not wanting to practice)

When I find a cure for iRFunk I will let you know, but I don’t know if there is one (cept maybe fun fixed setup league racing with lil->no stress)

40 old? When I was forty I could throw a bale of hay over a 6 rail fence lol. Happy Birthday.

With the kind of results I get in iRacing, I would be crazy not to have the Funk..

Borderlands 2 is going to take alot of people away from other games for a bit.

Good show once again Trev.

Great show again Trevor. I went through the iracing funk pretty bad a season or two ago, as you know. Some time off with the odd race just for fun got me back excited and ready to race full time again this season, and I’m having more fun than ever. Thanks for the shout out by the way !

Yea TC, iRacing can be a real grind from time to time. What I do is..in the time I’d usually be iRacing i’d instead do something that I absolutely hate doing, it makes me appreciate iRacing more :) Congrats to Jeff Ford on all his success in the LM’s! Hope to be racin with ya over there in the near future..maybe u can teach me a thing or 2. Come run some Truck or NW races with us Trevor!!!
